March of 2005 our store sold 11 new units.

March of 2006 we delivered 118 new units.

March of 2007 we moved 151 new units.

Here is the kicker! We accomplished the preceding numbers with only seven sales agents! We train with the One A Day Series, as a sales team. First off I just wanted to say Thank You. I attended your seminar in Phoenix in June on the advice of Howard Weiner (he told me I could not afford to not pay for it). I was leery of the spending on the course and on the CD programs because I was financially unstable at that point in my life and my wife was pressuring me to not spend the money. I made a choice that day after the class to purchase the CD programs and it has changed my career.I did not immediately mentally accept the CDs, they sat in my car and I did not listen to them with any sort of regularity. I was using some of the "85 Closes" but I hadn't repeated them often enough to use them with conviction. Just about a month later I hit bottom as a salesperson. I had 11 cars out and they were all mini's. I was crapped out and ready to quit. So I started listening to the CDs I had paid good money for. In return I sold 10 cars the last nine days of the month to finish with my highest ever monthly unit count.Since that day in July my income has gone up and I went from selling 10-12 cars a month to selling 16-20. Not only that, I've been promoted to the Internet Sales Department where I get to work with Howard (who believes fully in your program) daily. He has shown me what your programs can do for a salesperson with the right motivation and the dedication to his career and his family. Mr. Cardone, First let me start off by saying your class which I went to last year has long since paid off not only in sales but in the ease in which to get the close. But as my manager and I were sitting around discussing your tactics, closes and lines we laughed at the girl who in Minneapolis last year was arguing that your lines dont work with people in our market! The humor comes in paying HUNDREDS of dollars to go learn proven tactics from a car salesman who is worth over a hundred million dollars. As we disect it further though I think the problem is most salespeople do such a horsecrap job selling the vehicle with their walkaround and presentations they dont earn the right for the "hard close". Without first gaining the needed repoir they are right, you cant use your lines. Maybe you should have a back to basics email, reminding salespeople you cant do one test drive, spend ten minutes with a customer and expect to earn the right to ask for the sale and not expect a battle. Your style is absolutely right on if youre not to lazy to work toward the goal and spend an appropriate amount of time and yes, maybe go on two, three, or dare we waste that much time, four test drives. Thanks for taking my money and I wait every week for your email!

Dear Grant,
I spent over twelve years in the car business in just about every capacity in the sales department. I first heard of your selling system in early 1995. Later that summer I had the opportunity and distinct privilege of attending your workshop in Des Moines, Ia. At that particular point in my sales career I thought I knew it all. I was unwilling to except that the three years of experience leading up to that first seminar, were almost useless. I was in the middle to top of the sales tally board every month, and excepted mediocrity. I remember being irritated that I was "volunteered" to attend, and had to take time off the floor in order to listen to some guy tell me how to do my job better. That day I had what you might call an epiphany. All the negative or "shadow" thinking as you like to call it, came to light. I'm not what you would consider a religious fanatic, but there was a truly spiritual event that happened for me in the way I thought about and managed my career from that moment on. I listened and soaked in the entire days event. I remember having to convince myself to spend the money for your training tapes and being made fun of by two co-workers who also attended. Of all the money I have spent in my life I'll remember that moment the most.Grant...I'm here to tell you that I worked very hard at your material and struggled to understand the method to your madness. I struggled with my relationship with management as well. They scoffed at my new techniques. Re-programming a psyche is a daunting task, but dealing with the naysayers in your life is far worse. I practiced every day, listened to your tapes in my demo where ever I drove, recited those word tracks to the point that everyone around me was irritated, I emulated your persona until I thought I was you. What did it get me? 311 units down the road in 1996..Yeah, I said 311 pieces. In less than a year I went from averaging 10 to 12 units, to almost 26 every month. You can guess how my relatationship with management was after that. From sales floor, I went to finance and then eventually to sales manager with two other organizations. I have been to 5 of your seminars in my career span, and have spent hundreds of dollars on your products as well. I could never give you the thanks you truly deserve for having that impact on my automotive sales career. All that I have accomplished would never be possible, if it were not for the language you have taught me. I had many days in the car business that were, lets just say..less than average. It wasn't until I learned from your teachings that attitude was a decision...not an emotion, that things really started happening. ---Your student always...
